Features
- Dining hall at the centre of a gargantuan, creepy, largely empty palace in the Lady's Ward of Sigil; it is the largest and oldest structure in the city, so ancient that no one knows when it was built, or by whom
- The vast building is said to be haunted, cursed, or both, and been abandoned for centuries, except for a small wing recently occupied by the Lady's Jester, Jeremo the Natterer, who uses the place as a neutral meeting ground for Sigil's elite; the only other inhabitants are the occasional dabus and common vermin, particularly an infestation of Cranium Rats
- The interior of the palace is a maze of dark, nonsensically-twisting corridors, staircases and hallways, many of which lead nowhere and stop at inexplicable dead ends
- An air of dread hangs over the place, and even the residing dabus look nervously over their shoulders from time to time
Notes
- The players in my campaign allied themselves with the Lady's Jester, and set up an ambush for one of their mutual enemies, Ramander the Wise, in the dining hall of the palace. What resulted was a wizard duel that lasted 2 sessions and nearly 5 hours.
